United McGill is a family-owned business founded in 1951.  With headquarters in Columbus, we have a nationwide team of about 200 Associates. We operate six manufacturing plants and sales engineering offices throughout the United States.  The Company has five operating subsidiaries, and each has been active for decades.
 
The Associate will maintain and repair Company machinery, equipment, buildings and systems, mainly in its McGill AirFlow Grinnell, IA plant.  The work hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday with some overtime work required.
 
Qualifications include:  several years experience with mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment maintenance and repair; ability to read and understand relevant drawings and schematics and ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds, stoop, bend and crawl in small spaces, and work at elevated heights in factories.  Relevant education and training beyond high school is much preferred.
