McGill AirClean and McGill AirPressure, subsidiaries of United McGill, have about 70 years’ experience solving air pollution control problems for a large variety of industrial sources, including furnaces, boilers, incinerators, kilns, and dryers, and providing pressure processing equipment such as autoclaves and vacuum dryers for many industries.
Duties
•Supervise multi-trade construction projects for the installation of new air pollution control systems and rebuilds of existing systems.
• Supervise assigned projects to completion, on-time and within budget.
• Maintain accurate documentation,
• Inspecting all field work done by Company’s subcontractors for quality assurance and conformance to contract specifications.
• Monitor safe work practices of Company’s subcontractors.
Qualifications
• Five to ten years’ experience in industrial construction, preferably installing large-scale capital equipment.
• Ability to live at the job site for about four months.
• Experience hiring and vetting subcontractors from various trade/union groups.
• Familiar with OSHA safety regulations.
• A high school diploma or GED is required. A bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering, Construction Management or the like is preferred.
