United McGill Corporation is a national company specializing in engineering, manufacturing, and field installations of a variety of construction and industrial products and systems. We have 5 Limited Liability companies and more than 12 Sales/engineering offices throughout the U.S.

We are seeking a director to oversee Accounting, Tax & Audit and Credit/Collections for all our LLCs. The position is located at our corporate office in Groveport, OH.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting functions, which include inter-company accounting, AP/AR, inventory/costing, credit & collections, cash management/reconciliation, financial reporting, banking/credit cards, investments, balance sheet management, and Canadian tax returns.

• Oversee audits of all plants and departments to verify compliance with policies and procedures, and with outside auditors in performing interim and year-end audits.

• Ensure credit risk is balanced with business objectives, legal notices and /or lien waivers

prepared and filed, as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA or CPA certification.

• Five to 10 years’ experience in a medium size, privately-owned engineering, manufacturing and /or construction company.

• Experience in analyzing business performance and developing financial plans within a manufacturing environment.

• Prior leadership and team management experience.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with all levels of personnel.

• Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
